Is "Star Elo" elo of lowest player?

My "star" elo is 1660 so I should be allowed to pick this sponsor but looks like it's your lowest elo, not highest.
I think a Star player is whoever has the largest sum of stats in your team, maybe you star player is slumping at soloQ but he is a monster overall :)
