#5 Champion Splash Art reveal - Professor Brains. Community storyline contest inside.

Same old info & rules:
It's one of many splash arts we are revealing (officially). We'll reveal one champion splash art a day until we are out of stock. Since we are going to make custom champion pages with their own short background stories, stats, strengths and weaknesses, we decided to involve our beloved community.
So here's the contest for Professor Brains’ background story. Don't make it too long, one decent paragraph (around 5-10 sentences?) would be enough. The most upvoted useable story will (probably) get its place on the champion's page with your name added under it. We still have the rights to decide if it's suitable or not, just to prevent the 4chan treatment of public contests.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: We'll add some proper fractions/rivalry framework for the lore in the near days, stay tuned.

They came from above. In a flash, great orbs of light filled the night sky. For a mere few moments that seemed like an eternity, the heavens whirled, and the ground trembled, and in the blink of an eye, as quickly as they had come, they were gone. The professor never came home that night. Taken by otherworldly beings, stripped of his human form, and studied like a laboratory curiosity, he would never return as himself again. Left with what remained of his nervous system enveloped by a state of matter not quite gaseous, yet not quite liquid, as well, Professor Brains was born. Once all to find about his body had been found, they discarded him in the upper reaches of the world's atmosphere, to be forgotten. Yet, Professor Brains, himself, never forgot, and as he drifted slowly down to the planet's surface, he vowed to find the beings that had taken his life away from him. Now, he spends his days working for the advancement of science, with his newfound powers striking down any threats to the peace that might impede his progress, as he continues to look ever skyward.
