Contract expiration / Market bug

My scout player from today was already on the market when I signed him with 14 hours left: https://www.mobamanager.gg/players/market/view/16062

I assume whoever had him last put him up and then his contract expired. I was going to sell him anyways, but that seems like a weird interaction.
