Ganking means practically nothing, junglers have by far the least gold (less than support) and they rarely get kills (prob because of the gold deficit).
Conversely, supports are quite strong right now since it's a 2v2 botlane and that means they have a much higher gold income through all the kills and passive farming gold.
If you have a player that's 3 and 3 in JGL and SUPP, I would highly recommend putting him in the support role. My "3" support outperforms my "2" ADC in basically every game. Usually my ADC will have a scoreline of 2/8/17 when I win, while my Support has something like 8/4/15.
