Time on market resets

So I bid on a player and first of all I got told that I've been overbid (which was weird, because I smashed F5).

Next thing I know is I get the playere while the other player I should have received got bid on and is on a 15min countdown again.

Is either of this intended?

yes it is to prevent last second bidding.

Whenever there is a new bidder on a player where there are 15mins (or less) left, it will go back to 15
