Ranked Game..For What?

For what are ranked games? Do they train the Player? And what happens if he wins or looses some of them?

It's for Team Elo which moves you up the rankings and gets you better sponsors.

He said "what happen if he win or lose" so doesn't he mean soloQ ? SoloQ affect your player elo, reputation (i think ?) and will, in the future, train him.
