I just beat someone in my league but nothing happened.. My wins/losses didnt go up how do these work?

League games haven't been scheduled yet once the league starts you'll have a game a day and the top teams will be promoted. This go round we'll all be promoted based on a hidden elo score. But from then on the winner of a league goes up the bottom 4 go down.
