I feel there should be a few more coaches, I'm finding it impossible to get any due to update I keep getting out bidded last min and decent ones are just snapped up by big players

If you're able to get on for the update, try to bid for a Coach with 0 bids, tends to be the best way.
If you can't get on for the update then I'm afraid you're only real option is to fork out quite a lot, so that it's just not worth other outbidding you.
